Are you back from Minnesota?

Yes.

How was your trip?

It was really nice, except for a few unpleasantnesses. These include flying from summer into winter, an ear infection or two, and morning sickness. Overall, though, it was great to see the whole family and let them take care of my kids for awhile.

Wait, did you say morning sickness?

I did.

So... I guess that means you're pregnant again?

Very astute. Yes, I am pregnant again. And if your response is going to follow along the lines of a) "I thought so. Your stomach is usually flatter", b) "Oh, no." or c) "Oh my god she's pregnant again. You are not! Are you really? You're crazy", I would actually prefer that you not say anything. Not because I don't find amusement in these remarks, but because the violent mood swings have started already and what is sometimes amusing is also sometimes grounds for me to attack your face (my grandma should consider herself lucky.)

So when are you due?

The beginning of December, I think. Or maybe just when I dang well feel like it! Stop bothering me! (Whoa. See what I mean?)

Right... are you glad to be back in El Paso?

I'm glad to be back in my own house, where I am in charge. It's hard for me to go without yelling at people for three whole weeks. I was starting to get the shakes, you know? Even though I still dislike El Paso, I was glad to get back to normal. And back to nice weather.
